Renee Scott, Brandi Aldana Die after Lancaster Car Accident

 
LANCASTER, CA (October 20, 2021) – Two women were killed in a rollover accident the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue I early Saturday morning, October 16.
 
They victims are 37-year-old Brandi Marie Aldana of Lancaster and 57-year-old Renee Scott of Fontana, according to Sarah Ardalani of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Lancaster Station, a GMC carrying four people lost control and overturned before slamming into a signal light pole around 1:50 a.m.
 
The driver and rear passenger – identified as Alana and Scott – ejected from the vehicle. However, authorities did not say who was driving the vehicle when it crashed.
 
Officials pronounced both dead at the scene.
 
Two other passengers in the SUV were injured, but are expected to survive.
 
Deputies are still investigating the accident. t is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs played a role. However, speed appears to be a factor in the single-vehicle collision.
