Car Crashes on Riverside Boulevard in Greenhaven Neighborhood Killing Man and Woman

 
GREENHAVEN, CA (May 8, 2023) – Two people were killed in a car accident at Riverside Boulevard and 43rd Avenue late Sunday evening on May 7.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 11:30 p.m. in the Greenhaven area of Sacramento. According to Sacramento Police Department, a solo vehicle was traveling at the intersection when it crashed for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman inside the car with critical injuries. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Paramedics rushed the woman to a nearby hospital, where she also died.
 
No other injuries were reported.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
