SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (November 27, 2023) – At least two people sustained injuries in a wrong-way accident on Harbor Freeway, early Sunday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident happened on November 26, at about 3:15 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a southbound Dodge Charger entered the northbound lanes near Exposition Boulevard. Then, the sedan collided head-on with another vehicle near Century Boulevard.
 
Emergency crews transported two people to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Their conditions remain unknown.
 
Responders temporarily closed the roadway until 4:21 a.m. to make way for clearing operations.
 
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
