LONG BEACH, CA (June 20, 2023) – Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on 710 Freeway in Long Beach Saturday evening on June 17.
 
The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. at the Sixth Street off-ramp. According to the Long Beach Police Department, the motorcycle ran over debris left when another vehicle struck barricade barrels on the freeway exit.
 
Responding paramedics took the man driving the motorcycle and the girl who was his passenger to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
Police said intoxication may be a factor in the primary crash, but an investigation is still ongoing.
