FRESNO, CA (January 5, 2024) – Two people sustained injuries in a rollover accident on Highway 168, Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on January 2, at about 12:30 p.m. A white vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control while exiting onto westbound Highway 180. Then, it overturned.
 
The impact of the crash ejected one person from the vehicle. As per reports, the victim was not wearing a seat belt.
 
Emergency crews transported two people to Community Regional Medical Center with minor to major injuries. Authorities did not release the names of the victims.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
