Broadside Crash on Deschutes Road in Anderson Sends 2 People to Hospital

 
ANDERSON, CA (September 29, 2023) – Two people were hospitalized in a broadside accident on Deschutes Road in Anderson Monday afternoon on September 25.
 
The accident happened around 4:26 p.m. near the Jack in the Box on Arby Way. According to the Anderson Police Department, a blue sedan was traveling northbound on Deschutes when it allegedly ran a red light and broadsided a southbound white minivan that was attempting to make a left turn.
 
Paramedics responded and took two people to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
