Travis Skybergmanley Struck, Killed by Drivers on Highway 70 near Power House Hill Road

 
BUTTE COUNTY, CA (January 31, 2022) — Travis Skybergmanley was hit and killed by several cars on Highway 70 near Power House Hill Road on Thursday.
 
According to the Butte County Coroner’s Office, 37-year-old Skybergmanley died in the Thursday night pedestrian accident crash.
 
As Skybergmanley tried to retrieve his two dogs, both of which had escaped onto Highway 70, circumstances took a turn for the worst. Subsequently, two cars struck the 37-year-old in the southbound lanes.
 
Following the crash, both drivers pulled over and paramedics and authorities responded to the scene. However, Skybergmanley succumbed to his injuries moments later.
 
At this time, California Highway Patrol officers do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played a role in the accident. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm the details.
