Stolen Car Involved in Violent Crash on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 13, 2021) – Paramedics sent three people to the hospital following a stolen car crash on Sunset Boulevard on September 7.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Van Ness Avenue at approximately 12:31 PM.
 
Based on reports, officers briefly chased a gray Dodge Challenger that had been reported stolen. Then, the Dodge plowed into another vehicle, causing a pileup at the intersection. Officers did not state the number of cars that got involved in the crash.
 
As a result, the driver of the Dodge as well as his female passenger sustained injuries. In addition, at least one person in one of the other vehicles was hurt in the incident. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene.
 
At this point, the Los Angeles Police Department is still investigating this stolen car crash on Sunset Boulevard.
