David Artinian Killed in Accident on 210 Freeway in Pasadena

 
PASADENA, CA (September 13, 2021) – Officers identified David Artinian as the victim who died in a car accident on westbound 210 Freeway on September 7.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Mountain Street shortly after 7:00 PM.
 
Based on reports, the victim’s 2016 Scion sedan was traveling at an unknown high rate of speed at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the car collided with the rear of the tractor-trailer.
 
As a result, the victim died at the scene. Afterward, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner officials identified him as David Adji Artinian, a 43-year-old man from Pasadena. The 35-year-old Washington man who was driving the big rig was not hurt in the incident.
 
The cause and circumstances of the collision remained under investigation. At this point, officers are still asking anyone with information to reach the CHP’s Altadena-area office at (626) 296-8100.
