Three Killed, Three Construction Workers Injured after Car Crash on Pacific Coast Highway
NEWPORT BEACH, CA (May 13, 2022) — Three people died in a car accident on Pacific Coast Highway on Thursday, May 12.
According to the Newport Beach Police Department, the accident happened at around 12:45 a.m. in the 3000 Block of Pacific Coast Highway.
A report said the vehicle struck a curb and some construction equipment on the south side of the roadway.
The impact killed the occupants of the vehicle, police said. Their identities were not immediately available.
Three construction workers who were at the scene also sustained minor injuries and received treatment at a hospital.
Officials closed PCH in the area for several hours during the investigation of the crash.
