1 Dies in 3-Car Crash on Highway 395 in Adelanto
ADELANTO, CA (November 4, 2024) — One person died in a multi-car accident on Highway 395 near Auburn Avenue.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the three-car crash happened in the high desert around 1:38 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a driver of a white Chevrolet Blazer sideswiped a blue Volkswagen Golf. Subsequently, both southbound vehicles entered oncoming traffic where the Chevrolet Blazer collided head-on with a semi-truck.
Tragically, the Chevrolet driver died at the scene. Officials have not identified the victim.
Neither the semi-truck driver nor the Volkswagen Golf driver reported any injuries.
