Teofilo Lugo Dies in Fontana Pedestrian Accident

 
FONTANA, CA (February 22, 2021) — Teofilo Moran Lugo was killed in a pedestrian accident on Citrus Avenue near Ceres Avenue last Thursday.
 
According to a Metrolink spokesperson, the deadly incident happened around 11:58 a.m.
 
For unknown reasons, Fontana resident Lugo was on the tracks at the Citrus Avenue crossing. Shortly after, San Bernardino Line Train 325 struck the 71-year-old as it approached the area.
 
As a result, Lugo died at the scene, despite having received life-saving efforts.
 
At this time, the cause remains unclear. However, the Fontana Police Department plans to investigate any possible explanations.
