Steven Dolan Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 [Moss Landing, CA]

Motorcyclist Dies after Crashing into Pickup Truck on Highway 1 at Potrero Road

 
MOSS LANDING, CA (April 24, 2023) – Steven J. Dolan was killed in a motorcycle accident in Moss Landing Friday morning on April 21.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 7:00 a.m. on Highway 1 at Potrero Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Dolan was riding his 2017 Suzuki motorcycle when he crashed into a Dodge Ram, driven by 22-year-old David Gutierrez, that had turned into his path.
 
Gutierrez was attempting to turn left from Pieri Court onto Highway 1.
 
The impact ejected Dolan from his bike onto the side of the highway. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. He was 28 years old from Moss Landing.
 
Alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
 
At this time, no arrest was made. An investigation is ongoing.
