Two-Car Accident on East Vista Way Sends 6 to Hospital

 
VISTA, CA (July 7, 2021) – Six people sustained injuries in a two-car accident on East Vista Way near Warmlands Avenue Monday morning.
 
The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. on July 5. According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, a 2019 Toyota and 2003 BMW collided for unknown reasons.
 
Arriving units found one person pinned inside one of the cars. Paramedics transported six patients to area hospitals, some to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla with unspecified injuries.
 
The crash closed the East Vista Way for a little over an hour.
 
It is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol was a factor. The accident remains under investigation.
