Rollover Accident at Goldenrod and Belmont Avenues Leaves Several People Pinned in Vehicles

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (June 8, 2022) – Several people were pinned into vehicles after a rollover accident on Goldenrod Avenue in Fresno County on Friday, June 3.
 
The accident happened at the intersection with Belmont Avenue. CHP officials said a vehicle with a lone occupant was heading north on Goldenrod Avenue and did not stop at the intersection with Belmont Avenue.
 
The northbound vehicle then broadsided an SUV that was traveling west on Belmont. The impact caused one of the vehicles to roll over into a canal.
 
As a result of the crash, several people were pinned in their vehicles. The patients sustained minor to moderate injuries.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident. They do not suspect drugs or alcohol as a factor.
