Scott Baker Detained in DUI Hit-and-Run Crash on Alameda Del Prado near Ignacio Boulevard

 
NOVATO, CA (August 12, 2022) — Scott Baker faces charges in a DUI hit-and-run accident on Alameda Del Prado near Ignacio Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the hit-and-run collision happened around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday. For possible DUI-related reasons, 67-year-old Scott Elwyn Baker allowed his Mercedes E280 to rear-end a Honda Civic. Baker, however, fled the scene of the crash until his car became disabled about 1000 feet away from the point of impact.
 
Soon after, police responded to the scene and determined that he was under the influence and had a suspended license from a prior DUI.
 
At this time, the Kentfield man remains incarcerated at the Marin County Jail after being medically cleared. As for the Honda driver, that individual reported only minor pain from the collision and did not require hospital treatment.
