Ruben Vicario Dead after Hit-And-Run Crash on Lower Azusa and El Monte Avenue

 
EL MONTE, CA (March 24, 2022) — 59-year-old Ruben Vicario, of El Monte, died in a hit-and-run accident on Tuesday, March 22.
 
According to the El Monte Police Department, the incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. at Lower Azusa Road and El Monte Avenue.
 
Reports said a vehicle struck Vicario who was riding a bicycle at that time. Then driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled.
 
Vicario sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Officials described the hit-and-run vehicle as a red or burgundy 2019-2021 Toyota sedan.
