Rider Hospitalized in Kearny Mesa Motorcycle Crash on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard

 
KEARNY MESA, CA (June 28, 2022) — A rider was injured in a motorcycle accident on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard near Highway 163 on Sunday.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the motorcycle crash happened around 11:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a 53-year-old man in a Penske truck driving in the middle lane crashed into a Suzuki GSxR in the right lane.
 
As a result of the crash, the 27-year-old man riding the motorcycle suffered serious injuries to his lungs and back. Arriving paramedics brought the injured rider to a hospital for treatment.
