Rafael Cabrera Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Venice Boulevard near Mansfield Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 29, 2022) — Rafael Cabrera died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Venice Boulevard near Mansfield Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles police, the fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash occurred around 10:10 p.m. on Monday. For unknown reasons, a driver in an eastbound dark-colored SUV struck 41-year-old Cabrera on Venice Boulevard.
 
Rather than staying to help Cabrera, the driver in the SUV continued east. Shortly after, a driver in a second dark-colored SUV might have also been involved.
 
Following the crash, paramedics responded to the scene and found the Los Angeles man with fatal injuries. It appears he was hit outside of a marked crosswalk while wearing dark clothing.
