Person Dies in Highgrove Car Accident on Center Street

 
HIGHGROVE, CA (April 8, 2021) — A driver died in a car accident on Center Street near the 215 Freeway Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 6:00 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a car and a semi-truck crashed as they tried entering the freeway’s on-ramp.
 
Soon after, Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene but declared the driver of the car dead.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the big rig dodged injuries and stayed at the scene for the investigation.
 
At this time, authorities have no information on the liabilities or ultimate cause of the crash. However, if any witnesses would like to help the department, please contact the CHP.
