Person Dead in Winnetka Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Winnetka Avenue

 
WINNETKA, CA (January 18, 2022) — One person died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Winnetka Avenue near Valerio Street on Monday evening.
 
According to authorities, the hit-and-run accident happened before 6:20 p.m. Upon responding to the scene, Los Angeles Police found the body of a pedestrian.
 
At least one person, believed to be several hit-and-run drivers, struck the victim who died shortly after.
 
Soon after, one of the drivers reported back to the scene, where police arrested the driver on felony hit-and-run charges.
