SANTA MARIA, CA (January 20, 2022) — One person died in a car accident on Bonita School Road at Bonita Lateral Road on Wednesday night.
 
According to news reports, the crash happened around 7:20 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, one car crashed at the intersection.
 
As a result, a person involved in the crash suffered fatal injuries.
 
Not long after, Santa Maria officers arrived and placed traffic restrictions until 8:00 p.m.
