Perla Medina Dies in Accident 15 Freeway near Rancho California Road
TEMECULA, CA (August 7, 2021) — Perla Medina died in an accident on the 15 Freeway near Rancho California Road Saturday, July 31.
According to California Highway Patrol, officers received calls around 4:30 a.m. Shortly after responding, police found 37-year-old Medina lying on the No.1 and 2 lanes near Rancho California Road.
Medina, who might have leaped or was pushed from a vehicle, died at the scene from her injuries.
According to witnesses, they saw an emotionally distraught man parked nearby. However, he had left the scene in his white Ford F-150 with landscaping tools in the truck’s bed.
Now, officers need the public’s help in locating this man who appears to be 35 to 40 years old with black hair. Therefore, if anyone knows any information about this person of interest or any drivers who may have struck Medina, please call the Temecula CHP office at 951-506-2000.
