SAN FRANCISCO, CA (January 22, 2024) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a van on 280 Freeway in San Francisco Saturday night on January 20.
 
Around 7:40 p.m., the driver of a Honda CRV crashed into sand barrels on the northbound freeway at the Highway 101 connector. After the crash, the driver got out of the Honda.
 
While standing near the Honda, a passing van struck both the SUV and the driver.
 
As a result, the driver of the Honda suffered serious injuries. Paramedics took them to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
The driver of the van stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.
