Two-Car Crash on Live Oak Street in Hesperia Sends Driver to Hospital

 
HESPERIA, CA (January 22, 2024) – One person was injured in a two-car accident on Live Oak Street in Hesperia Saturday evening on January 20.
 
The accident happened around 8:47 p.m. in the 13500 block of Live Oak Street, near one of the entrances to the Las Casitas apartment complex. According to the Hesperia Police Department, a silver Toyota Avalon was traveling in the area when it lost control for unknown reasons. It then crashed into the side of a Chevrolet Impala.
 
The impact caused the Avalon to overturn on its roof.
 
The driver was able to self-extricate from the wreckage. Paramedics transported them to a local hospital for a complaint of pain.
 
It is unclear if there are other injuries sustained in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
