Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Folsom Boulevard [Sacramento, CA]

Woman Dead in Accident on Folsom Boulevard near 60th Street

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 14, 2022) — A pedestrian died in an accident on Folsom Boulevard at about 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, January 13.
 
According to the Sacramento Police Department, at least four cars were involved in the crash. It took place on Folsom Boulevard between 59th Street and 60th Street.
 
Officials said medics rushed the female pedestrian to the hospital where she died of sustained injuries. Her identity is not immediately available pending notification of loved ones.
 
The drivers of the involved vehicles did not sustain injuries, police said.
 
Police said that the incident impacted the traffic in the area. Officers continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
