Man Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on Beach Boulevard in La Habra

 
LA HABRA, CA (December 26, 2023) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Beach Boulevard in La Habra Saturday morning on December 23.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:56 a.m. at Hillsborough Drive, just near the Westridge Golf Club. According to the La Habra Police Department, the male pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
After striking him, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
First responders found the victim unresponsive in the street. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The Orange County Coroner’s Office only described the man as someone in his 50s.
 
At this time, La Habra police are still searching to the hit-and-run suspect. They asked anyone with information to call them at 562-383- 4300 and ask to speak with a traffic investigator.
