Motorcycle Rider Dies after Crash with Vehicle on Aviation Boulevard in Redondo Beach

 
REDONDO BEACH, CA (December 26, 2023) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Aviation Boulevard in Redondo Beach Saturday afternoon on December 12.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:15 p.m. near Space Park Drive. According to the Redondo Beach Police Department, the man was riding his motorcycle northbound on Aviation Boulevard when he collided with a vehicle turning south onto Aviation from Space Park.
 
The impact caused the motorcycle rider fatal injuries and he died at the scene. His identity will be confirmed by the Medical Examiner’s office.
 
Meanwhile, the man driving the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
 
Alcohol and/or drugs did not appear to factor into the crash, which is still under investigation.
