Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Overhill Drive in LA Involves 2 Vehicles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 31, 2021) – A pedestrian died in a traffic accident at Overhill Drive and West Slauson Avenue Monday afternoon.
 
The accident happened just before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, near Windsor Hills and View Park. According to an initial report by the CHP, a silver Nissan Sentra and a green sedan struck the pedestrian for unknown reasons. One of the cars also hit a light pole.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and confirmed the fatality of the accident. The identity of the pedestrian was not immediately available.
 
After the crash, crews closed the westbound traffic from Slauson Avenue and the northbound traffic from Overhill Drive while they cleared the wreckage.
 
No other information available at this time. This fatal accident remains under investigation.
