Car Crashes into Tree on Saratoga Avenue in San Jose Killing its Passenger

 
SAN JOSE, CA (November 3, 2021) – A passenger was killed in a car accident at Saratoga Avenue and Graves Avenue in San Jose late on Tuesday evening.
 
The accident happened around 11:52 p.m. on November 2. According to authorities, a 1996 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Saratoga Avenue when it left the roadway. It then collided into a tree.
 
As a result, the passenger in the car suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once family members are properly notified.
 
Meanwhile, the driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The San Jose Police Department’s Traffic Investigations Unit is still investigating the cause of the accident. They asked anyone with further information to contact Detective O’Brien #3527 at 408-277-4654.
