SUNNYVALE, CA (December 6, 2021) – One person suffered injuries following an accident involving a train on West Evelyn Avenue on December 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened shortly before 9:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was trespassing on the tracks in the area of the Sunnyvale station. Consequently, a southbound train #108 heading toward San Jose struck him.
 
As a result, paramedics transported the person to a hospital in an unknown condition. There were only three people aboard the train and no one was hurt.
 
Also, the accident blocked the southbound tracks for about an hour.
 
At this point, the CHP officers are still investigating the case. In addition, no other details are available.
