Lanes Closed after Five-Vehicle Accident on 205 Freeway in San Joaquin County

 
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (December 6, 2021) – A five-vehicle accident blocked lanes and slowed traffic on 205 Freeway, Thursday afternoon.
 
According to Caltrans, the incident happened on December 2 at about 2:30 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, five vehicles collided near the area of Mountain House Parkway.
 
It is unknown whether the people involved in the collision sustained injuries.
 
Emergency responders temporarily closed westbound and eastbound 205 Freeway at Mountain House Parkway off-ramp. As per reports, both lanes were reopened at least three hours after the incident.
 
Caltrans continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
