LOS ANGELES, CA (October 4, 2021) — One person died in a multi-car crash on the 10 Freeway near Santa Fe Avenue Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal multi-car crash happened around 5:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, a semi-truck and several cars collided on the eastbound freeway.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, one person suffered fatal injuries.
 
Meanwhile, authorities closed the No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 lanes of the freeway for cleanup and the investigation.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the ultimate cause of this multi-car crash on the 10 Freeway. However, any witnesses with information should contact the CHP.
