Rider Airlifted after Motorcycle Crash on Seventh Street [Victorville, CA]

Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident on 7th Street near Desert Knoll Drive

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (October 4, 2021) — A rider suffered critical injuries in a motorcycle crash on Seventh Street on Thursday, September 30.
 
The collision occurred at 9:49 a.m. on Seventh Street near Desert Knoll Drive. The crash involved a classic Mercedes Benz 300 SE and a 2015 Can-Am Spyder.
 
The impact ejected the rider from the three-wheel motorcycle and he landed several feet away.
 
Victorville City firefighters rushed to the scene and asked a helicopter to land at Victor Valley Global Medical Center.
 
An AMR ambulance transported him. After that, a Mercy Air 22 airlifted him to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. An update on the extent of his condition was not immediately available.
 
The female driver of the Mercedes told deputies she tried to make a left turn when the bike collided into her vehicle. Most of the damages to her car was on the passenger side. The woman cooperated with the officers. She was not hurt.
 
Deputies temporarily closed eastbound lanes on 7th Street while they investigated the scene.
 
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
