Rodrigo Torres Involved in Fatal Robbins Car Crash

 
ROBBINS, CA (October 4, 2021) — Rodrigo Torres was involved in a deadly two-car accident on Highway 113 near Pelger Road Friday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened around 9:00 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a 27-year-old man in a Ford Focus crossed over the highway’s centerline. As a result, the southbound Ford Focus sideswiped a northbound Ford F-150, driven by 34-year-old Rodrigo Ramos Torres, who was driving about 55 miles per hour.
 
Subsequently, the Ford struck the leading edge of Torres’ trailer.
 
Tragically, the unidentified driver of the Focus died at the scene. His identity has not been released.
 
At this time, investigators have not confirmed if DUI played a role on his part. However, they have cleared Torres of any DUI involvement.
