One Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on West Saint Gertrude Place [Santa Ana, CA]

Hit-and-Run Driver Strikes 2 Pedestrians on West Saint Gertrude Place in Santa Ana Killing One of Them

 
SANTA ANA, CA (April 4, 2023) – One pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on West Saint Gertrude Place in Santa Ana early Sunday morning on April 2.
 
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, two pedestrians were standing next to a vehicle at 500 West Saint Gertrude Place when an SUV struck them just after 2:00 a.m.
 
After striking the victims, the driver of the SUV fled the scene.
 
Responding officers found the pedestrians in the roadway and rushed both them to a hospital. Sadly, one of the victims did not survive and was declared dead.
 
The condition of the second victim was not immediately available.
