Two-Vehicle Accident on Sherwood Avenue in Wasco Ends in Fatality

 
WASCO, CA (June 7, 2021) – At least one person died in a two-vehicle accident at Sherwood Avenue and Highway 143 north of Wasco Saturday morning.
 
The accident happened around 11:15 a.m. on June 5. CHP officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but they confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
Another person suffered major injuries and a third patient had minor injuries.
 
The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
 
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
