NORWALK, CA (September 30, 2021) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on the Century (105) Freeway in Norwalk Wednesday, September 29.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:48 p.m. near the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway intersection. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles had collided for unknown reasons.
 
The impact of the crash caused fatal injuries on one occupant. The victim died at the scene.
 
Authorities withheld the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin.
 
After the crash, crews closed four right lanes of the eastbound 105 Freeway, as well as the freeway’s eastbound Bellflower Boulevard on-ramp, for an unknown duration while they cleared the scene.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
