SILVERADO, CA (November 30, 2023) – At least one person died in a traffic accident on Santiago Canyon Road in Silverado Wednesday morning on November 29.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:38 a.m. near Ridgetop Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, an unknown number of vehicles collided in the middle of the street.
 
When officers arrived, they found one person dead at the scene. A second person was trapped inside the wreckage.
 
At this time, it is still unclear if both people died as a result of the crash. The identities of the involved people were also not immediately available.
