Stabbing Victim Dies after Crashing Car into Walgreens in San Francisco

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 30, 2023)Julio Salazar Perez was a stabbing victim who died after he crashed his car into a Walgreens while trying to reach a hospital early Saturday morning on November 25.
 
The crash happened around 12:25 a.m. in the 1100 block of Potrero Avenue at 24th Street. Police said they received a report of a possible car crash. When they arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle that had crashed into Walgreens, a block from Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
 
Officers believed the two men inside the vehicle had been trying to get to a hospital when the crash happened.
 
Perez died at the hospital. He was 27 years old, according to the San Francisco Office of the Medical Examiner. A 34-year-old man who was traveling with him in a vehicle had life-threatening injuries.
 
Both men suffered from stab wounds and attempted to drive themselves to the hospital.
