Traffic Accident on 91 Freeway in Anaheim Kills 1 and Injures Another

 
ANAHEIM, CA (July 4, 2021) – One person died in a traffic accident on 91 Freeway in Anaheim early Saturday morning, July 3.
 
The accident happened around 3:35 a.m. at Imperial Highway. CHP officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but they confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
Paramedics rushed another person to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Coroner’s officials will release the identity of the deceased victim once family members are properly notified.
 
Crews closed two freeway lanes while they cleared the wreckage and documented the scene.
 
At this time, the number of involved vehicles was unclear and it is not yet determined if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
 
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances of this fatal crash.
