RIPON, CA (July 4, 2021) – Responders closed several lanes following a semi-truck accident on Highway 99 on July 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Olive Drive around 1:37 PM.
 
Based on reports, the semi-truck collided with a pickup truck in the lanes. However, the details that led to the crash were not immediately available.
 
As a result, only one lane remained open. Fire responders closed the lanes on southbound Highway 99 to give way to a clearing operation. It was not clear if there were injuries sustained in the incident.
 
At this point, this semi-truck accident on Highway 99 is still under investigation by the CHP.
