One Killed in Rollover Accident on Deschutes Road near Corner Way [Anderson, CA]

Early Morning Rollover Accident on Deschutes Road in Anderson Kills 1 and Sends Another to Hospital

 
ANDERSON, CA (November 29, 2021) – One person died in a rollover accident on Deschutes Road in Anderson early Saturday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:22 a.m. on November 27, near Corner Way. According to the Anderson Police Department, a vehicle carrying two people had overturned in the area for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found one person ejected from the vehicle with fatal injuries. They pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
Paramedics transported the other occupant to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
Deschutes remained closed for four and a half hours while law enforcement and investigators worked the scene. At 6:02 a.m., the roads were reopened to traffic.
 
Futher investigation is underway.
