Fatal Rear-End Crash Occurs on 10 Freeway at Highland Springs Avenue in Beaumont

 
BEAUMONT, CA (August 17, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a rear-end crash on westbound 10 Freeway on August 15.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred just east of Highland Springs Avenue around 11:30 AM.
 
Based on reports, a white Jeep Compass stopped in the freeway’s slow lane. Subsequently, a maroon-colored Kia sedan came and rear-ended the vehicle.
 
As a result, one motorists died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Also, the collision resulted to westbound freeway traffic for approximately 2 1/2 miles from the crash site east to 8th Street.
 
At this point, no other details are available. Also, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
