PERRIS, CA (August 17, 2022) – A man was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Orange Avenue on Monday evening.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened on August 15 at about 7:00 p.m. The victim reportedly attempted to cross the road and was hit by a northbound gray sedan near Redlands Avenue.
 
Emergency crews rushed the pedestrian to Riverside University Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. Authorities did not release the name of the victim.
 
However, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid.
