Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Two Vehicles on Harbor Boulevard in Ventura

 
VENTURA, CA (February 16, 2022) – One person died in a pedestrian accident on Harbor Boulevard in Ventura on Sunday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:57 p.m. on February 13 just south of Spinnaker Drive. According to the Ventura Police Department, the male pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
While the victim was lying in the roadway, a second vehicle also hit him. The second driver fled the scene before authorities arrived.
 
The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office withheld his identity pending notification of next of kin.
