Pedestrian Dies after Struck by At Least Two Vehicles on 101 Freeway in Hollywood

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 27, 2022) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on 101 Freeway in Hollywood early Saturday morning on November 26.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:18 a.m. at North Vermont Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking along the northbound freeway when at least two vehicles struck them.
 
When officers arrived, they found the victim lying in the roadway with fatal injuries. They pronounced them dead at the scene.
 
It is unclear if the involved motorists stayed after the crash.
 
The CHP issued a SigAlert in the area, closing three lanes of the freeway while they conducted their investigation.
