Biker Suffers Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on Panama Lane in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 27, 2022) – A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Panama Lane in Bakersfield Thursday morning on November 24.
 
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on the Panama Lane on-ramp to southbound Highway 99. According to the California Highway Patrol, an unknown vehicle hit the victim who was riding their bicycle in the area.
 
After hitting the victim, the involved driver did not stop to render aid.
 
First responders found the bicyclist suffering from moderate injuries and transported them to a hospital.
 
At this time, officers are still investigating the crash and searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
