Motorcyclist Dies in Hesperia Crash on Highway 138 near Silverwood Country Store

 
HESPERIA, CA (November 1, 2021) – One person died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 138 in Hesperia on Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 12:38 p.m. on October 30, near Summit Valley Road, just west of the Silverwood Country Store. A group of motorcyclists was traveling together when for unknown reasons one of the riders was involved in a traffic accident.
 
Responding firefighters said several motorcycles down in the middle of the roadway.
 
One of the riders died at the scene.
 
The San Bernardino County Coroners Office will release the identity of the victim once family members are notified.
 
Firefighters requested a helicopter to land near the scene for another injured rider.
 
The Victorville CHP station is handling the investigation.
