Morning Head-On Crash on Highway 395 in San Bernardino County Leaves One Dead

 
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA (March 31, 2024) – One person was killed in a head-on accident on a remote stretch of Highway 395 in San Bernardino County Friday morning on March 29.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:10 am. just north of Fremont Peak Road, about 17 miles north of Kramer Junction. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, a Honda Pilot and an Audi A4 collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found one person trapped inside a vehicle. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The identity of the victim was withheld at this time.
 
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. They asked witnesses or anyone with information to call the CHP’s Barstow-area office at 760-255-5900.
